I bought this for my holiday cooking and it's perfect. The red and green layered birch is beautiful and it feels solid in hand. It's long enough to reach the back of my big skillet. The slot is useful for letting excess oil drip off. It’s become my go-to spatula for pancakes and eggs. I just wish I could find more pieces to match.

The spatula is functional and looks great when new. However, after a few washes, the color started to fade a bit. Not a big deal since it's a kitchen tool, but I expected it to last longer. The wood itself is sturdy and hasn't warped. I still use it every day.
