Nice but the color fades

It's a nice spoon, but the colorful pattern started to fade after a few washes in the dishwasher (even though I should have hand washed it). The spoon itself is sturdy and works well. I still use it, but it's not as pretty anymore. Lesson learned: hand wash only.
